He moved across the room like a warship sailing into battle Entering a room catching everyone’s attention causing their jaw to drop while admiring them.

Todays task is about similes , I smiled when I saw this because its a enjoyable task and you would know that if you have seen my previous blog post. Once again their is two activitys and the first one was to make six similes that describe you , your personailty , your appearance and just who you are. I thought hard about that and tried to come up with creative answers. The second activity was to answer with the meaning of the simile that was made on the left. I am looking forward to do this task again with a different figurative language.

This week for writing we are focusing on Metaphors instead of all eight figurative languages. This task we had two activities , I found both these activities fun but mostly the second one. For the first activity we had to find a metaphor for each feeling. The second activaty we had to guess what the metaphor is talking about with the word at the top as a hint and our answers at the bottom. I hope we come across a task like this again because it was very enjoyable.
