On Thursday 14th September 2o23 Glen Taylor School had a Matariki festival to celebrate Matariki and Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori . It was one enjoyable fun day and that was proved because of how tired most people were. From the begining of the term we have been focusing on a topic like for example , Myths and Legends, Stars and so on. We got the choice to choose one topic and my buddy and I choose Myths and Legends. We focused on Maui pulling up the big fish as our topic and the outcome of our station was playdough making on Maui related equipment and a word find with the Myth and Legend Maui pulling up the fish. To be very honest I wasnt even at my station half the time but near the end of time I stayed put at my station , I reckon I can do better next time by sticking together with my buddy and sticking to my station. Maybe next time we could do something more interacting but overall it was a fun experience.
